Before World Wide Web became household name, people called travel agents when they needed to make a reservation. It was a daunting task to call every airline for schedules or go to the library to research properties. The agent could quickly give them information and make their reservations for them.
The internet obviously had an impact on this business model and many agencies went out of business. As with any product or service, it must meet consumer demand--the old service had been replaced but it opened the door to an entirely new service--that of a travel consultant.
My clients are internet savvy but short on time. They want perfect vacations but are too busy to spend countless hours searching the on-line sea of options. This is where I come in.
I'd like to request that you forget any preconceived notions about what I might be able to do for you. When you work with me, you'll wonder if there is anything I can't do for you. I am here to serve as your personal travel concierge--someone you can quickly call or email with nothing more than an idea. I’ll take it from there using my trusted resources, global connections and travel know-how.
So it's not really why would you work with me, but rather WHY NOT?
Conde Nast Traveler has listed me as one of the world's top travel specialists each year since 2005. Each fall, I venture to New York to learn about travel trends and network with the others on the list at the Conde Nast Specialist Awards.
