When asked how she chose a career the travel industry, she says it chose her. During a break from her career in the financial industry, she decided to take a "fun job" with an adventure travel company. A few years later, while dining with founders from the world's leading travel companies, someone posed the question. They asked each person at the table to share the moment when they realized they wanted a career in travel. Caroline didn't have an answer that evening, but her wheels started spinning -- she was doing what she loved and knew right then that her "fun job" was the start of a rewarding lifelong career.
I can say we truly enjoyed every minute of our trip and in a funny way; it even strengthened our marriage through sharing all sorts of new adventures and experiences together.
